Mexico Mission Trip

Becky, Brandon and Kathleen participated in a mission trip to Tecate, Mexico, over spring break.  They left in the evening of Thursday, March 27th and returned on Saturday, April 5th.

The group from Selah Covenant Church travels in a caravan of trucks, SUV's and utility trailers.  Just look at all the gear necessary to feed and house everyone.  Selah Covenant Church has participated in building a home for a family in need in a Mexican city for many years.

As the group built the home this year, they endured rain, heat and frost.  The teenagers who participated this year are to be commended for braving the elements and still build a small home in 3 days.
Taking a little time to have some fun.

Kelsey Hedrick, Kathleen, Brandon and Blair Crutchley were just a few of the teenagers who gave of themselves to help on this project.

A stop in Oceanside to rejuvenate before the long trip home.
Yep!  They are worn out.
Our daughter, Becky, on the right and the youth minister from Selah Covenant Church, Rebekah, on the left.  They bought these cute hats at a street fair in Oceanside.
