Volunteering to Re-Certify for Master Hunter Progrm

To re-certify for the Master Hunter Program, Bill needed to volunteer for 40 hours.  Bill has been a Master Hunter for 5 years.  He chose to do some clean up projects for the Forest Service.  He worked at Sawmill Flats and Bumping Lake boat Launch.  The Master Hunter Program allows him to apply for more hunts and is eligible for damage hunts, too.
Bill cleaned parking lots, trails, along the roads and picnic tables.  He was glad it was dry enough to use the leaf blower.  It saved a lot of sweeping.
Both of us went to Bumping Lake for the last day Bill volunteered.  It was an absolutely gorgeous day.
We were reward for the day in the wilderness by seeing several elk as we left Bumping Lake.
