Visting Coralee and Lance in Cle Elum

We haven't seen Coralee and Lance since April 2010 (they are full-time RV'ers) so when they spent a couple nights in Cle Elum in May on their way to Puyallup, we wanted to go visit them.  It was exciting to see Coralee.  She looks great because she has been working hard to get healthier and losing weight.
We took a drive to spend the afternoon in Roslyn.  This house was decorated in an unusual way.  There was a stack of wheelbarrows almost as high as the tree next to them.  How funny!!!!
The 1990-1995 TV series, Northern Exposure, was filmed in Roslyn.  The series was about a newly graduated doctor who is required to set up his practice in an eccentric Alaskan town named Cicely.
Many of the buildings used for the TV series are still there - some have changed and some remain unchanged.
The radio station, KBHR, was part of the series.
Roslyn is an old coal mining town and they have an awesome coal miner's memorial.
There is also a small museum in Roslyn but it wasn't open on the day we were there.  The coal cars and outhouse were outdoor displays.
There are some fun buildings in Roslyn.  We had lunch at the Brick Tavern and really had a good time.
