Jason and Courtney were enjoying a nice day riding their horses. They found a place close to home with lots of trails to enjoy.
Well, you never know what will happen next. Jason was leading and his horse, Sam, suddenly stopped. Courtney's horse, Bella, did the same and Courtney was jerked off her horse. Her hand took the brunt of the fall and as the x-ray shows, the bone of her left hand ring finger was broken. Ouch!
The bone needed to be plated and pinned and the date for the surgery was March 10th, Courtney's birthday. Memorable birthday!!! Courtney did great with the whole process and her hand is healing well.
Update on Courtney's hand. The first picture was taken about 3/22 and the second picture was taken on 3/26. The incision is looking awesome and much improved!
