It's Never Too Late for Winter!!!

Megan is having fun with the snowfall on 2/8/14.  Catching snowflakes and a snowman!
We finally got measurable snow for the Winter of 2013/2014.  It's February and we got about 10 inches over several days.  The story is unusual - Christmas went by without snow and the snow pack in the mountains has farmers worried about the irrigations needs for the coming summer.  Hopefully, this snowfall will be helpful.  It's so peaceful!!
The elk are finally gathering at the Oak Creek feeding station. We took Kathleen, Lindsey and Jordan up to see the elk.  Kathleen had lots of questions.  Last year, Bill volunteered at the feeding station and they started the program in early January.  He just got the call that the volunteer program will begin this Friday, February 14th.
