We had a really fun trip to Sekiu in August to fish for pink (humpie) salmon. The pinks only run on the odd numbered years! What made it so great was having most of the grandkids come to fish with us. And the fishing was very good! Mike, Brandon and Sammy show off some of the day's catch. These 3 as well as Mike Hedrick fished on the first weekend.
Kyle and his cousin, Brad Ruschner, stayed for the whole trip. They were so helpful around camp and on the boat.
Becky and Lindsey stayed for the whole trip. Kay and Lee came for about 4 days. Lindsey and Lee were happy to catch their dinner.
Lindsey, Kay and Becky hiked out to Cape Flattery - the most northwestern point of the lower United States.
The cousins and their fish.
Nice day's catch! We caught a total of 93 salmon - 74 pinks and 19 silvers. Awesome!
Brett, Kelly and Brian came up on the last weekend. It was really great to have lots of company to share our fishing experience!
