Spring Flowers

This tree peonie fascinates me and I always take a lot of pictures of it.  Some of the blooms are 8 inchest across.  They are beautiful.

The lilac trees and snowball treee have abundant blooms every year.

These bearded iris are spread among the sagebrush but they do very well.

Hostas, peonies and flowering ground cover.

This hydrangea is beautiful and special.  A Mother's Day gift from the Battle's.

Conconully 2014

The guys let the battery go dead.  There are always oars!!!

So peaceful annd beautiful....

We enjoy watching the mama ducks and their little ducklings.  We are there at just the right time of year to see the new little ones.

Bill and Lee got to help Gene (owner and operator of Liars' Cove) retrieve a loose log.  Keeps it from being blown into the shore where everyone fishes.  Quite an adventure!!!

The kokanee fishing at Conconully Lake is awesome.  There is a secret ingredient in the fishing bait.   Ask them, see if you can find out what it is!!!

Ellensburg Canyon Bike Ride

Making memories for Kathleen, our German granddaughter.  Mike, Becky, Brandon and Kathleen challenged themselves to do the Ellensburg Canyon Bike Ride.  They were also joined by their friend, Terry Alapetrie.  Lots of fun pictures.

Mother"s Day 2014

Our family spent Mother's Day 2014 honoring Bill's mother, Betty.  We really appreciated our kids and grandkids that could be here.  It was a special day.

Look at the really cool card house that Megan created.  Good  steady hand to accomplish that.  Patches got to stay with G & G and Aunt Becky while his family celebrated Mother's Day at the Skamania Lodge.

Jason, Courtney, Merry and Megan got a special Mother's Day treat with a night at the Skamania Lodge.  Lots of fun with pools and hot tubs.  It's a beautiful place.
